A fundamentally new digital modulation approach for the physical layer that can handle the most challenging scenarios.

From Blind Communication to the Internet of Things

By predicting a huge paradigm shift in early 2010 within wireless communication — driven by a machine-type communication in automation and industrialization — we worked on a radical new concept for modulating digital data on the physical layer. Between 2017 and 2019 we developed a novel blind (noncoherent) communication scheme, called modulation on conjugate-reciprocal zeros (MOCZ), to reliably transmit sporadic short binary packets over unknown finite impulse response systems. Which can be used, for example, to model underspread wireless multipath channels.

Innovation & Visions

We invented and patented a new blind modulation scheme for wireless communication and sensing. This was done in cooperation with the California Institute of Technology, the Technical University of Berlin, and the California University of Irvine.

We are an enterpreneral team of highly-skilled, RF researchers and engineers. We are a spin-off of the Technical University Berlin from the Institute of Telecommunications. Today we seek partners and investors to launch MOXZ as the new ISAC standard for 6G.
