Customized MOXZ-ISAC Radios

We offer customized MOXZ-ISAC Radios, handheld mobile wireless devices designed to operate in rough environments. Our MOXZ technology enables Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), providing a secure and reliable wireless digital communication link while simultaneously sensing the environment. This includes real-time tracking of devices (3D positioning) and detection of line-of-sight conditions as well as physical movements between devices, such as the motion of people or machines. Independent of existing wireless infrastructures like cellular networks or GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), our devices function as stand-alone proprietary solutions, ideal for indoor environments such as tunnels, mines, warehouses, factories, and more. With packet-based transmission and end-to-end latency below milliseconds, our radio devices are optimized for high-mobility applications and Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) scenarios.

Mobile to Mobile

Our mobile MOXZ Radios are battery powered handheld devices coming in a robust water-proof housing to operate in rough conditions (IP65 certified). The mobile devices allow for URLLC applications with additional distance tracking between two mobile-devices in real-time. Moreover, due to the wireless broadcasting features of MOXZ, multiple mobile devices can operate in a Walkie-Talkie mode or can be deployed in a wireless mesh network. Offering flexible data-rates that can reach up to 10Mbps, our radios even support video streaming and a fully encrypted wireless link.

Mobile to Infrastructure

By integrating our handheld mobile MOXZ-Radios into our wired infrastructure, accurate real-time 3D positioning and tracking of all devices on-site can be achieved. The setup consists of multiple wireless access points connected to a wired backbone network, which can be provided by fiber or copper cables. The facility sites can be indoor, underground or in heavy metallic environments where usual cellular or GNSS services might be unavailable. Such an infrastructure-based system is ideal for company-owned facilities, ensuring seamless and reliable communication in challenging conditions.
